Privacy policy

Kindwave ("the app") is made by GO RICH MARKETING LLC ("we", "us"). This policy explains what happens to your information when you use Kindwave on iPhone or Android. The short version: your health information stays on your phone, and we do not collect it.

What the app stores, and where

Everything you enter in Kindwave stays on your device, in a database that is encrypted with a key kept in your phone's secure storage (iOS Keychain or Android Keystore). This includes:

• medicines, schedules, doses, injection sites and notes;
• weight, body measurements, progress photos and journal entries;
• side effects, nutrition, strength sessions, supplies and costs;
• your goals and app settings.

You do not need an account to use Kindwave. We do not run a server that receives this information, and we cannot see it.

What we do not do

• We do not collect, sell, rent or share your health information.
• We do not show ads.
• We do not use analytics, advertising identifiers, tracking, or third-party crash-reporting tools.
• We do not use your information for marketing or research.

Apple Health and Health Connect

If you choose to connect Apple Health (iPhone) or Health Connect (Android), Kindwave reads the categories you allow, such as weight, body fat, lean body mass and height, and, only if you turn it on, writes your weight entries back. This information is stored on your device like everything else. It is never used for advertising, never sold, and never shared with anyone. You can turn access off at any time in your phone's settings.

Notifications

Reminders are scheduled locally on your phone. Notification text can be made discreet in the app settings so that medicine names do not appear on the lock screen.

Backups, exports and sharing

• Encrypted backups are files you create and save where you choose (for example Files, iCloud Drive or Google Drive). They are encrypted with a password only you know; without it, nobody, including us, can open them.
• Automatic snapshots are encrypted copies kept on your device so you can roll back.
• Exports and reports (CSV, JSON or PDF) are created on your device and only leave it when you share them yourself.

Purchases

Kindwave Plus is sold through the App Store or Google Play. Apple or Google handle payment; we never receive your payment details. The app checks your purchase status with the store on your device.

Contacting us

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message, and use them only to reply. We delete support emails when they are no longer needed.

Children

Kindwave is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Your choices

• You can export or delete your data at any time. Me > Privacy & security > Delete all data removes everything from the app. Uninstalling the app also deletes its data from your device.
• You can revoke Apple Health or Health Connect access, notifications and photo access in your phone's settings.

Because we do not hold your information, requests to access, correct or delete it are fulfilled by the app itself on your device. You can still contact us with any question.

Changes to this policy

If Kindwave changes how it handles information, for example by adding an optional feature that sends data off your phone, we will update this policy before that feature is released and describe it clearly in the app.
